Funke Mayaki, Education Consultant
The Principal Consultant is Mrs Funke Mayaki. She holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from University of Ife, Nigeria (now Obafemi Awolowo University) and a Masters degree in International Business & Economic Development from The University of Reading, UK.

Funke previously worked as Education Counselling Services Manager (and later Change Manager) at the British Council Lagos. While at the British Council she did the “Professional Award in Marketing UK Education” certificate course which she passed with distinction. She then went on to set up and successfully run the first Nigeria Office of a UK University.

Prior to her experience in Education promotion, she worked as an economist in a bank and later as a Commercial Officer at the British High Commission, promoting UK products and services.

She recently returned to Nigeria after three years in The Netherlands, where she was involved in volunteer activities and did some work at the British (Senior) School in the Netherlands. She also indulged in her passion for cake decorating, attending several courses in this regard.

She is a Certified Prince2 Practitioner and also holds a diploma in “Counselling Children and Adolescents”.
